Somatic & Trauma-Informed Therapy
At UnEarthed, therapy is an invitation to slow down and listen—to your body, your inner world, and the parts of you that learned to survive long before you had words for what you were carrying.
Our work is grounded in trauma-informed, nervous-system-based therapy that honors the deep connection between body, mind, and relationship. Located in Keller and serving the greater Fort Worth area, we support teens, adults, and older adults who feel overwhelmed, emotionally exhausted, disconnected, or stuck in patterns shaped by stress, trauma, or long-standing relational wounds.
Many people arrive knowing something isn’t working—but not exactly why. Often, what’s showing up now makes sense when we understand how the nervous system learned to protect us earlier in life.
Healing happens not through pushing or fixing, but through safety, attunement, and being deeply understood.
Who This Work Is For
We support teens, adults, and older adults navigating experiences such as:
Anxiety, panic, or chronic stress
Trauma and complex or developmental trauma (C-PTSD)
Grief, loss, and major life transitions
Burnout, emotional overwhelm, or shutdown
Relational patterns shaped by attachment wounds
Feeling “on edge,” numb, disconnected, or constantly over-functioning
Many of the people we support are thoughtful, capable, and deeply caring—yet have learned to hold a lot on their own. Therapy becomes a place where protective strategies are met with compassion, and where new ways of relating to yourself and others can slowly emerge.
Our Approach
Our therapists draw from a range of evidence-based, body-centered approaches, including Sensorimotor Psychotherapy, Somatic Experiencing, Internal Family Systems (IFS), and EMDR, all through a relational, trauma-informed lens.
Rather than focusing only on talking through experiences, we gently attend to how stress, trauma, and attachment patterns live in the body and nervous system. Sessions may include noticing sensations, emotions, impulses, or protective “parts,” exploring relationship patterns, and practicing grounding or regulation tools that support daily life.
This work is paced with care, guided by consent, and shaped by what feels safe and supportive for each person. Therapy becomes a space where the body can begin to settle, unfinished stress responses can be completed, and inner parts that have been working so hard can finally rest.

UnEarth and Awaken
Our Philosophy
A person-centered, bottom-up approach recognizes you as the expert in your own life and experience. The role of the UnEarthed team is to offer support, guidance, reflection, and to walk alongside you on your wellness journey. This approach aims to facilitate learning, growth, and healing while honoring the complexity and beauty of the human experience.
UnEarthed recognizes that our experiences are connected not only to the well-being of our own mind, body, and spirit but also to the health of our communities, the natural world, and our planet.
Organic: We honor the innate wisdom living within every being. Our role isn’t to “fix” or “heal” you but to gently support your authentic path of growth and healing, which always springs from within.
Being With: We recognize that we’re all threads in a vast, intricate web. Despite our individual quirks and differences, unity pulses beneath it all, accessible through open, honest communication.
Integrative: You’re a beautifully complex fusion of mind, body, and spirit — inseparable parts of the whole you. Our approach respects this unity, addressing all facets together to nurture your full well-being.
Ahimsa: A sense of safety, above all. Our approach is respectful and non-invasive. We don’t try to be the expert in your life; instead, we invite curiosity and gentle self-exploration, allowing natural growth to unfold in its own time.
Mindful: Presence. There is a lot to learn in each moment. By grounding ourselves and our sessions in here-and-now awareness, we cultivate a space ripe for insight, intuition, and inspiration.
Relational: We are relational creatures at our core. Connection is in our bones. We cherish the raw, real dance of human relationships, turning challenges and authenticity into catalysts for growth.
“The body always leads us home….if we can simply learn to trust sensation and stay with it long enough for it to reveal appropriate action, movement, insight or feeling.”
— Pat Ogden
