From Reacting to Relating: Healing the Nervous System
UnEarth Somatic Workshop | 3 Hours
Do you ever notice yourself reacting in ways that don’t quite match who you are or what you want?
Old parts of us can show up in relationship, often without our awareness.
This experiential and educational workshop explores how the nervous system carries early relational experiences, chronic stress, and past hurts—and how these shape the way we relate to others in the present. Through gentle movement, accessible somatic education, and embodied practices, you’ll be invited to notice how familiar reactions such as shutting down, over-giving, or pulling away often arise from protective responses the body learned over time.
Led by a trauma-informed somatic therapist and yoga teacher, this workshop is offered in an intentionally held, smaller group setting to support safety, pacing, and connection. You’ll be guided through simple, choice-based practices that invite regulation, awareness, and more grounded ways of relating—in relationships and within yourself.
This is an opportunity to slow down, listen inward, and gently reconnect with your body’s wisdom—so you can move from past-based reacting toward more present, intentional relating.
